SEGRAFO's exchange groups bring together farmers equipped with barn dryers, organized by geographical area. Each group is supported by a facilitator and/or an external expert to encourage technical exchanges and the sharing of experience regarding forage drying and forage systems.
Members are fully involved in the meetings and can suggest the topics to be discussed during the sessions.
The morning is dedicated to discussions between farmers about the drying season:
The afternoon is dedicated to visiting a farm equipped with a barn dryer and/or to a technical presentation chosen by the group. These sessions allow for in-depth exploration of a specific topic and for observing firsthand the installations and technical choices implemented in the field.
The exchange groups are not yet full. Interested farmers can contact SEGRAFO to join an existing group or to be informed of upcoming meetings. These group sessions are an important tool for improving barn drying practices and strengthening farms' forage self-sufficiency.
